The executive committee of the city council expresses its support for the activities of "AMA Ukraine" LLC (USA) in the field of providing psychiatric and psychological assistance and strengthening the mental health of the Ukrainian nation.

Due to the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, almost the entire population of Ukraine lives in constant stress, experiences anxiety for their lives and the lives of their loved ones does not feel safe due to missile strikes and enemy shelling, which in general has a negative effect on mental health. The population of the Boryspil urban territorial community and the Boryspil district, which directly bordered the occupied communities of the Brovar district and maintained an active defense on the way to Kyiv, are no exception. Today, many families are separated because of the war, the defenders of Boryspil defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders on the front lines, often at the cost of their own lives. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the community has provided shelter to thousands of internally displaced persons from the eastern and southern regions of the country. All of them experience extreme stress from the war, which negatively affects the psyche of people not only during hostilities but can also manifest itself several years later.

It is possible to help our citizens cope with modern challenges by creating a crisis assistance center, involving an international team of doctors and psychologists, which is LLC "AMA Ukraine" (USA). This initiative will help to improve the mental health of citizens since it is the level of psychological well-being that will affect the general state of health, economic recovery, and further development of the community and district. LLC "AMA Ukraine" (USA) is supported by a respected team of professionals and specialists from the USA in the field of psychiatry and psychology (the USA team will teach, and mentor according to needs), and the partner organization in the USA is AMA Inc.

Mayor Volodymyr Borysenko approves the initiative to create a crisis assistance center and assures that the city government will maximally promote the dissemination of information about the company's activities and help in solving organizational issues.
